Cookies Policy

What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way and keeps small pieces of data on your device. Sites use both to remember choices and to run features.
What this site stores
The site sets no cookies of its own. It uses local storage for two small features, and both stay on your device.
| Item | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| dqng-favorites | Remembers the names you saved. | Local storage, set when you press Save | Until you remove it |
| dqng-family | Remembers your family friendly setting. | Local storage, set when you change the checkbox | Until you remove it |
Third-party cookies
No advertising, analytics, or social media tool runs on the site at this time, so no third party sets cookies here. My web host handles ordinary technical requests for me.
If advertising or analytics arrives
I may add ads or analytics later. Partners in those tools can set cookies or read similar identifiers to show ads, count visits, and stop fraud. I would then list each tool here, explain its purpose, and ask for consent where the law requires it. I will update this page before any such tool goes live.
How to control or remove stored data
- Press Clear saved names on the generator page to remove your saved list.
- Use your browser settings to clear cookies, site data, and local storage for this site.
- Block cookies and storage in your browser if you prefer. The Save feature and saved setting will stop working, but the generator will still make names.
Changes to this policy
I update this page when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
